Greetings all and welcome to my brand new website. It would be great to hear your feedback on the site. For this first post I thought I would give a bit of an introduction to myself, particularly for those of you who don't know me.

I am a photographer based in Perth, Scotland. I enjoy a wide range of photographic styles but tend to find that I focus on landscape photography as well as live music and wedding photography, a reflection perhaps of my own musical interests and the beautiful scenery that surrounds us in Scotland.

I am writing this initial post from the stunning Cowal peninsula in Argyll, where I have been spending this Easter weekend. If you have not had the chance to visit yet yourself, it is well worth the trip, particularly when the weather has been as good as it has been the past couple of days.

The photo accompanying this post is a shot of Loch Eck, taken earlier this afternoon. Loch Eck has to be one of Scotland's most picturesque lochs to my mind and I have photographed it often. It is not too large and is surrounded by colourful hills and mountains. I have many more photos from the weekend which I will be sharing on Facebook over the coming days.
